I tried that and it had no effect. I'm thinking maybe it effects what things cost at different stages of the game, but that's just a guess. It doesn't do anything to the turn year increment though.

Well of course as soon as I submitted my post I found the value in settings.txt that changes the starting game year.

I would like to mod SE5 so that I can have year one as the starting year, and also so that the turn year increment is one year per turn instead of one tenth of a year per turn. Can this be done? I...
