Re: British oob

I do occasionally Mobhack OOBs to test the feasibility of some of my suggestions.
I said "I have done as much of the work as I can" this is not the same as saying "as I do all the work" why is the...

Re: British oob

Before 4/44 the British had no armoured infantry that is according to the 4 very reputable, extensively researched volumes by Mark Bevis on exactly that subject, the British war establishments concur...

Re: Stielgranate

I found something relevant about Stielgranate that might be useful, a quote from Andersons The History of the PanzerJager

from Von Mullers information leaflet on the munition

Its most effective...

Re: British oob

I realise this is irrelevant for the viewpoint of the game and Im sorry to be splitting hairs here, but the RAF Regiments are actually part of the Air Force. The reference is good if we just...

Re: Stielgranate

Well I guess giving itself away would be exactly how a normal 37mm would act anyway?
and the cost for the 37 with the extra stielgranate probably wouldn't be that much different anyway. Yes your...

British oob

I started off looking at British use of halftracks but I uncovered quite a lot of other stuff so here it is. There is actually a monumental reference for the British TOEs, the four books published...

Re: Halftracks

I had a look at resolving the mounted instead of carried 60mm mortar halftrack and pandora's box opened up.
Main result being that there is a very strong case to be made for US armoured Infantry...

Re: Fortifications

OK so
Explosive dust vision effects are already covered by dust/smoke in the game no need to add suppression for these any more than for a unit walking into a dust cloud from a clear hex.
Once out...

Re: Stielgranate

The uncropped picture shows at least 12 shells all together probably not all steilgranate blanks. Common sense says the gun would still be issued its usual HE AP ammunition as it has a truck to...

Re: Halftracks

Hey Imp, guess who spotted the cheat that got fixed in the last patch? Maybe you think that qualifies as moving the game forward?

Re: Stielgranate

Here is something from lone sentry on penetration.

One was statically detonated against the face of 7-inch...

Re: Fortifications

OK so actually exactly the opposite is true. Fortifications are vulnerable to direct fire and invulnerable to indirect fire, shelling. The roof is always as thick as possible, say a metre of...

Fortifications

Hi
When I shell a bunker the bunker takes on some suppression if I shell it a lot that can be a lot of suppression however, if the bunker has troops loaded into it those troops take on much less...

Stielgranate

Weapons 130 and 131 have the wrong penetrations. Both should be 18 not 12 and 15 This can be corroberated at many web sites. Heres one

Re: Halftracks

Just to be clear I am suggesting a third game winsptactics not changing this game winspww2. It could be a very tiny game to start. But hey I know it is a pipedream. Duck and Cover.

Re: Halftracks

I see, only problem would be the mortar can fire from behind armour and can return fire that move instead of dismounting and firing the next turn. Can't have everything I guess.

Also USA's 60mm Mor H/T unit 66, does not exist I noted this before the last update in those very annoying long posts about AA MGs in the tank machine guns thread so I guess you didn't read them.

says this

57mm and 76mm APCR projectiles were accepted into...
