Re: weapon slot questions

Slot 1 in an infantry unit is a sort of special slot where any class 1 (primary infantry) weapon should be placed if you want all the men in that unit to be equiped with it.

I think that the game...

Re: New Scenario

My first scenario (or at lest the first worth uploading):-

In the rice paddies, March 1966

Re: map editing question.

Select the hex and hit * (the asterisc). You can then mannually enter the hex height. -1 will turn a stream hex into a ford.

Hi folks.

I have just finished my latest scenario and would like a few people to playtest it and suggest any improvements or find any problems.

It is a company sized USA vs VC assault set in...

Re: Extra toys for scenario designers...

TACAN as in a air navigation beacon? Sounds like an interesting scenario. Post it here when done so we can try it.

To offset not using any v-hexes, you could increase the points value of each...

Re: Extra toys for scenario designers...

Cheers for the support guys.

I will have to make sure anything we put together along these lines comes with a warning for users to check the integrity of their oob files to prevent snarl ups.

Re: First attempt at a LRA/Mau Mau scenario!

Good small scenario. Underlines the problems of calling in heavy airpower against a thinly spread well dispersed enemy:

ie. Hello Bomber flight, goodbye the lead elements of my force.

The...

Re: About Patch or Version 2.0

I think this is something a few folk in this forum should remember before they go harassing the very people who gave us winSPMBT in the first place.

Personally, I still can't get over the fact...

Opponent wanted for small Nam/Korea battle

Anyone up for a small Vietnam/Korea PBEM game?
I've never done PBEM before, normally playing campaign games.
When I say small I mean 300-400 points max as prefer intense skirmishes to huge battles....

Nice to see someone make a complex and tense scenario on a small map, rather than the huge ones where it takes me five minutes just to find where my forces are. Also liked...

Re: Blowing bridges

You could try stationing an enemey pioneer unit with a slot 1 weapon capable of dropping the bridge with 1 shot of ammo.
Set the reaction turn to the turn you want the bridge to be blown.
Then set...

Re: Different types of victory hex

I have to agree with you on...
