How to keep from starving your units?

Just need help and advice with this. I build up my firces and run them around, and then I start having them starve. I just don't understand this facet of the game...

How do you know what provinces your units are in?

When I "sneak" mu ints around, I can never remember what provinces I sent them to, and am left clicking them all. Is there a better way?

I've had the Arch-Druid as the Pretender. I'd like to stick with Man since the units are easier for...

I could bump my provider up for a quareter (3 months) - out that would cost me about $125 x 3.
