Re: Computer Lock \'n Load

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the input.

I won't be trading in LnL maps for Uncommon Valor's anytime soon! LOL

You also reference the incorrect scale. LnL is a squad-based, not tactical game.

And...

Re: Computer Lock \'n Load

Yeah, I know I'm looking forward to picking up a copy of So Cliche when it releases.

BTW, have you played LnL? It's very easy to learn. A great way to introduce people to the hobby.

Best,
Mark

Re: Computer Lock \'n Load

Howdy,

Really I'm just trolling for ideas, but ANY version of CLnL would have single player. I mean, that's the point, isn't it. You can play MP via VLnL right now.

I hear you with the kids,...

Computer Lock \'n Load

Anyone interested in seeing a computer Version of LnL? If so, what would you like to see? Should it cover Vietnam or some other era? Retain the boardgame's rules or expand them. What do you think of...

Re: Anzac Attack

I'll pony up on this one. Beasts of the City is one of my Favorites, but I also liked Assault on Binh Ba. Perhaps my favorite scenario was one that didn't make it in.

Titled "The Enemy of My...

Re: Solitaire question

That is so well said, Bill. Concepts are --at times-- the easy part. The sweat and blood comes in bringing those concepts to fruition.

That said, solitaire LnL would be a bLast. Much of the game's...

Re: future lnl games

Beside that, I am still waiting and looking forward to some Vietnam custom scenarios. Where the heck are they? Or are to original 13 so good that noone ever thinks of making an own one???

Re: Solitaire question

Yeah, DH, this question does come up a lot in various forums. I think LnL is an EXTREMELY solitaire friendly game. There is nothing like ASL, ATS or PG's hidden units, which I think ruins a game....

Re: Just downloaded demo

Hi,

As you might have seen, we did two demos (or at least two downloadable scenarios)for Forgotten Heroes: A Friend in Need and Undeniable Courage.

That flash demo is a pretty cool...

Re: Game Schedule

Hi Dennis,

I haven't quite decided on which style I like for the Aftermath counters. The system is intact, the counter values are there, but I'm still studying options with the counters. As soon...

Hi Dennis,
Aftermath is really moving along... take a look at the new page over at the LnL site.

Unsung Heroes is doing well also. Not quite as fast as I would like, but moving along. I think...

Re: Add ons

Well, as you know, there is Unsung Heroes, but that will be a complete game. I've also contemplated add-ons that are just that --a couple of maps, new counters, and a handful or scenarios. What do...

Yeah, those are both good ones. I must admit that I think River of Perfume is my favorite, but I'm also very partial to the second scenario I designed --A Friend in Need. I've played it dozens of...

Super Bowl Ticket Give Away!

Hey All,

What we need is a LNL tournament, with Shrapnel kicking in mousepads, cash, and Super Bowl tickets to the winner. What does everyone think of that idea?

Mark

Re: CH-E Jolly Green Giant

Hi David,

CH46 could carry two squads so 2PP, they usually mounted 2 M60s, so I'd give them a 2*. Only 2 because we let them fire 360, which signifies one in each door. They should have an armor...
