Re: Been a while - are R'lyeh and Ermor still overpowered?

Haha - thanks Calahan.

Actually I've just been playing EA agartha SP...and feeling a bit underwhelmed. Maybe I'll try something else...

Been a while - are R'lyeh and Ermor still overpowered?

My last game was 9 months ago or so, and I'm looking to start one up (for newish players). Previously, on advice, I'd banned both R'lyeh and Ermor (my last hosted game was LA). Are those still a...

Re: One of the things I love about Dom3

Well, each to their own of course. Lack of accuracy seems a bit harsh - perhaps imperfect accuracy? But I take what you're saying on board. It's unfortunate that their are errors, but I'd say that...

Re: One of the things I love about Dom3

Glad to see I'm not alone :)

I for one will also forgive any inaccuracies, because the greater strength of the manual has been to aid the mystique of the game, inspire me to play, and catalyze my...

One of the things I love about Dom3

I'm waiting on a replacement disk, since I managed to lose my original disk.

I have other hobbies (e.g. tabletop miniatures gaming) where waiting for something always seems painfully interminable....

Re: Lost game disk

Thanks for the welcome back Calahan! I remember having some fun games with you. To be honest, my hiatus was for two reasons. Firstly, change of computer. But secondly, I'd played a series of...

Happy Ending

Must say, customer support has been superb :)

They were quickly able to verify that I'd legitimately bought the game, and for $4 + delivery they're sending a replacement disk which is already on...

Lost game disk

I played Dom3 quite a bit until probably 8 or 9 months ago when I changed computers and never got around to reinstalling it ("boo!" thinks the reader).

The itch has returned though, and despite...

Re: MadCradle2, 11 players, MA - Game On!

Guys, work is nuts right now (in a bunch of messy ways really). I've been trying to hang in so as to not give advantages/disadvantages, but with all my stales I don't think I'm helping things. It's...

That's a bummer about nozshand...i guess i'll just play on in the meantime. i'd rather someone sub rather than me do...

Re: MadCradle2, 11 players, MA - Game On!

Sigh...still a lot to learn in this game. Set up a mind duel, my SC is higher astral than the opponents, even did communions for good measure, thought I had the ranges ok...and my SC decides to buff...

Re: MadCradle2, 11 players, MA - Game On!

Yeah, this was weird. I watched the battle and was feeling all depressed...and then in the campaign level I had won.

It'll be temporary though. I don't have an answer to your SCs hunt.

Re: MadCradle2, 11 players, MA - Game On!

Oddly enough, nothing happened for me last turn, including not moving a large army away from another large army. I'm not sure if it was just me being a dunce (entirely possible I admit!) or if it...

Re: MadCradle2, 11 players, MA - Game On!

I'll make the change to 48, but encourage everyone to take their turns as quickly as possible. In my experience 48 rarely happens - it's just nice to have a fallback when other parts of life make it...

Re: MadCradle2, 11 players, MA - Game On!

Not sure how often folks check this forum...but any objections to me changing the hosting to 48 hours? Just getting to be a fair bit of work now and one turn staled because I took too long doing it....

Re: Revenge of Pimping - Let's go Voltron Force!

Any chance of changing to 48 hour hosting?

I'm aware of the ermor problem but lack a border - how can I help?

I'm happy to admin - done 2 before. PM me the password.

Cheers,

James.

Re: MadCradle2, 11 players, MA - Game On!

We're back!

Sounds like Grudge will miss a turn, maybe 2, but that shouldn't make his position too bad.
