Fun part is that there wasnt even one Mk4 destroyed by RPG, even RPG-29, all penetrating hits with RPG-29 were against Mk2 and Mk3. There were reports that Mk4 was able to withstand repetitive Kornet...

Most people are forgeting that during Cold War, west armies were profesional and Easters block had all conscript with small exeptions. even famous "Desantniki" or Black Berrets were conscripted....

Not exactly. With TI you still see tank, even it is obscured by smoke. with APFSDS you dont need accurate range, that thing going flat, so there will be no problems to hit a tank.

Hm,can you post link. In my sources i found that all tanks(T-64A,T-72A,T-64B) were upgraded after tests with Israli M111 wich was capable to penetrate standard glacis from 1500-2000m.

Actually there were two versions of T-72A. First 1978 with standard glacis armor(330mm against KE) and 1983 with additional glacis armor (+16mm HHS = 400mm against KE). Same armor addon was used in...

Sorry but you are wrong. IR sights are not LLTV. Soviets were using Active IR reflectors and they were easily to detect if used. Max Range was about 700-800m at max in passive mode 1000 in active...

Multicharge warheads are more effective against chobham armor too.Not only against ERA. They are capable to penetrate different layers of armor more effectivelly than solid HEAT round. (but still...

Wow, Absolutelly perfect addons. New weapon class for RPGs is great addon, can the weapon class be used for tank guns to simulate tandem HEAT shells like russian BK-29?
