Are they worse then in 1.2?

In 1.1 I found them fairly easy to navigate, pass them on their corner and they don't multiply. If there is a real need to go through one I found melee better...

Don't know if this is a bug but it was odd. Well into my current game. Sector 206 has a Banker station. Bankers Love me. Vordalene Hate me. I cruise around and I am attacked by Banker ships???...
