Re: Dark Knight

What about exploits that are unobservable on the battlefield?

Specifically, I am thinking about using Telestic Animates to reanimate undead. But I am sure there are others.

Re: Allegiances 2 (Large Team-Based Game, RECRUITI

How about giving the circle masters rings of regeneration? They would still get diseased, but should not die.

Re: Odd mummy assignment

Are you sure the province is underwater? On some maps, provinces that "look" like water provinces are in fact land provinces.

To be sure look at the info bar in the upper left of the display. If...

Re: What\'s the most dangerous Spell?

O.k. now I am curious. I have only wished for things such as gems or cool units. How does one damage opponents (or the game) with the spell?

Re: Counters to Niefelheim

Neifelheim is extremely powerful in the early game, slightly above average in the middle game, and fairly weak in the late game. They are ultimately done in by low troop numbers and pathetic PD.

Re: Starving is quite harsh. Do you think it is OK?

I have also seen units get diseased after starving for a single month. Never been quite sure though if it was due do extreme starvation or due to some undiscovered disease spreading site. Perhaps...

Re: Counters to Niefelheim

Of course, as Niefel, you are always concerned about Flaming Arrows and other instances of concentrated fire magic. Casting Rain on the first round of combat is a good idea for the Niefel player. ...

Re: Counters to Niefelheim

Conventional forces are not effective vs. Niefel giants.

However, Your rainbow pretender as well as the Oreiads and Astrologers should be effective with the with the right scripting.

Some...

Re: Perpetuality -LA Atlantis

Wow, sounds like a lot of huffing going on. But I am at a loss when I try to locate Frank's huffy comments.

Could it just be that real life (computer/connection issues, crazy hours at work, or...

Re: Morale Problems

For the most part individual units do not make morale checks (with the exception of solo thugs/SCs). Squads do.

Squad morale is calculated as an average of the individual morales for all the...

Perhaps Wikd Thots could take over Bandar and turn Pangea to AI?

Re: Pythium

I would vote for a sub.

As R'lyeh, I have seen very little evidence of Bandar's dominance beyond the number of globals that they have up. And it is likely that 1 or 2 of those globals are going...

Re: Three questions regarding sacreds.

Spell effects are resolved prior to movement. So, if sneaking out from your own province, your stealthy units will be vulnerable to the previously discussed list of spells - regardless of...

Re: Three questions regarding sacreds.

Just tested this, and Micah is correct (with a caveat).

Assassin spells, teleportation, and seeking arrow are all ineffective vs. stealth units.

Leprosy, murdering winter, and the 2 fire...

Re: Three questions regarding sacreds.

It is true that map spells (including teleportation) are resolved after stealth.

However, Mind Hunt, is effective vs. hidden adversaries. And I am pretty sure if you lose your stealthy leader...

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)

For anyone that may be interested. . . EA Pan (free spawn nation with large army and nasty pretender) is in bed with the undead (LA Ermor).

Also of potential interest. . . EA Pan's pretender and...

Re: Opinions on Caelum (MA and other)

I am not arguing that Caelum is under-powered.

But. . .

While the temple guards are indeed capable, they are not that exceptional compared with other sacreds. And they are very resource...
