Forgot the most important thing: you want a dominion of 10. Your negative dominion is a powerful weapon because it hurts everyone else much, much more than you.

Not sure, but I think trample is part of the whole attack phase - it won't even come into play if it's not possible. It's just a way to do extra damage when it is possible.

Yeah, she should still trample. Armored/equipped Jotuns and Heavy Cav trample, since it's a function of size differential instead of equipment.
