If the OP is talking about the formation lettering - the 5 key toggles that IIRC. Search the Game Manual under the "CD Extended features" section for the section titled "Show/Hide Formation ID's".

Then do as I suggested - move one hex at a time, not multiples when which hex you choose is vital. The pathfinding algorithm only applies for requested moves >1 hex.

Are you talking about the pathfinding algorithm here?

If so, if you give a unit a multi-hex move by clicking on a hex a lon way away, it will use the least-cost path. Roads and similar cost least...

You could always add a few points to the cost of German units in the scenario editor if things are so balanced on a knife edge VP wise.

You could start with say any trucks, and double thier cost...

Naturally when we got the code - in fact before that in the first game, which was a hacked mod - we used wargames rulesets (Wargames Research Group and Tabletop Games Firefly...

I Think someone added 50 cal SLAP to several OOBS, and frankly I have no idea if that even works at all, or even gets better results than the HE.

50 cal HE pen from MG thingies has "special sauce"...

Mobhack has a help file - reading that there is a short bit on the bad ammo message.



That coule be anything - say an aircraft weapon used by a ground unit. Or a HEAT round without a 222 code...

Then there is the fact that the "range doubling" has cut down the blast effects of HE rounds from arty and other stuff, since his hexes are now 25 units and not 50 - so a shell that had 1 hex splash...

The treaty is real, and is hard coded into the game data. There is no switch to "turn it off".
