I have thought making a CBM friendly version, but it requires a lot of work to get them fit together.

Wish: I know that there's no unit description in CoE3 like Dom3, but when/if CoE3 get patched later so the community can mod CoE3, could the devs make it possible/open to add unit descriptions?

No, you don't need Desura to play it (or any other games you got from desura).
Inside the Desura folder you'll find binaries/scripts that you can launch outside Desura.

That's one of the reason I suggest Desura (the other reason is it's also available for Linux). With Desura you don't need Desura client to run the game you purchased.

An interesting way to use forestshape, would be that all the wood elves have forestshape. So you can actually make the wood elves be a bit stronger when fighting in woods, or bit weaker when not...
