Re: Mistletoe - an LA game for busy people (in progress)

Holy cow, this thing was going through this past February? I was eliminated three years ago!

What turn did it end on? Who won?

Re: Conquest of Elysium 3 dev log

I am optimistic; their Mac support for Dominions has always been great. But it's never too early for some Mac gaming angst.

Re: Mistletoe - an LA game for busy people (in progress)

Re: Snow Leopard Crashes

I haven't had any problems; I've run each point release of 10.6 from 10.6.0 to the current 10.6.3. And my Macbook Pro is almost four years old.

Any other details/pattern?

Re: Mac OS X & mods/maps

Just to cover the obvious, are you running the most recent Dominions 3 update (3.24)?

I remember a few versions ago, there was a single mod command that could crash Mac Dominions. It's not out of...

We continue to play on a higher plane of existence. And there, we are winning!

Wait, is it crashing for this game? I haven't sent in a new turn yet.

Re: Little Bering Game (PBEM)

We could all open our turns again, make some inconsequential change, and send in the new turns?

Re: Patch 3.24 - Thank you IW!

They seem not to have updated the version number in the "get info" window (ever, apparently). Launch the app and look in the lower left-hand corner, you'll see the true version there.

Edit: and...

Re: New HoF brain storm

You might (either for this or some other project) look into JSON as a lightweight persistence format (www.json.org). Your data looks a lot like a dictionary, and JSON will do that fine. There's a...

Re: Little Bering Game (PBEM)

Pasha, let us know if/when we should patch to 3.24 for this game (as in, before or after the turn due Tuesday).

Re: Mistletoe - an LA game for busy people (in progress)

Ermor would like to thank Patala for the donation of the Aegis and other fine magic items. However, in the future, you may merely leave them on the doorstep and knock; these wargames we engage in...

Re: Little Bering Game (PBEM)

So, the gloves come off, and Jomon bares its fangs. Which must have been in its gloves. "We own the seas", they say, which is easy when you launch a cowardly sneak attack. What happened to the...

Re: Others looking for Solium Infernum?

Hmm, not seeing them. Only PC at the moment and from a forum post by Vic: "It's PC only right now. I'm going to investigate a Mac version but the performance has to be better than what I got for...

Re: Others looking for Solium Infernum?

Holy cow, Mac users, take note! There are Mac system requirements listed! I admit the "Armageddon Empires" demo didn't do much for me, but any time there is another Mac TBS game, that's a good...

Re: Dominions sheet music?

I've played piano since middle school, but never above an amateur level. I haven't played much recently due to ergonomic issues (ugh). And my synth just broke. I'm looking at getting one of the...

Re: OT: Champions

Head on over to rpg.net and look for some reviews there. They have a very active set of forums, if you want to ask over there. My vague recollection is that the current Heroes/Champions is a...

Re: Land Rand (pbem)

The answer to that is simple. With something like 12-15 players still in the game, I didn't count emails. I started up Dominions and looked to see which nations didn't have played turns. I didn't...

Re: RAND-DOM DAWN - PBEM Game - Started

It's out! The long-heralded turn 56 ought to be in your inboxes about now. Next turn is due Sunday or Tuesday or whatever is realistic.

Please send your next turns to Pasha! My benevolent reign...
