You get them in the Southern area as they chiefly operated down there, round Stalingrad, the Don, Azov area etc. Spanish Blue Division can also appear too.

It took fire so it adjusted its opfire filters so as to allow itself to fire back. A targeted unit will not sit dumbly and let itself be murdered. Which is what I said above.

If you install to a windows managed folder then it will squirrel away any updates to your windows...

Changing a field means a new save game format, so every save game, scenario etc would need remastering. It also has code issues since various screens will new rewriting to allow th extra characters....

Bicycles that are separate are motorcycles, which are vehicles. Vehicles which smash into houses can get immobilised. Bikes that are one-piece jobs are probably cavalry (which is a form of infantry)...

The recent fighting in the Ukraine shows what happens to light APC caught in an artillery concentration. And these modern APC are not open-topped as WW2 ones tended to be. Even T-72 are disassembled....

Triggering mines is by movement into or out of the hex. Dismounting in a hex is not "movement" as it uses a different routine. Dismounts aren't entering the hex, by the game rules.

AI uses observers, if one is in LOS of the target. It has no plan for them other than shuffle forwards with the rest of the lemmings. It does not know about gold spots, repeat calls or adjusting off...
