Re: Land Rand (pbem) - Full

I'm guessing that, as in ages past, we should give our pretender the name of our nation?

Re: Turn 69

The acute poisoning didn't show up in my battle replay. As far as I saw, he was around at the end of one fight (including not counting as dead in the summary) and gone at the beginning of the next....

Re: Turn 69

I didn't have any problems watching the battle - though I do have problems with the result. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
This game has been plagued with weirdness for me,...

Re: Turn 63

What are you doing on this side of the world, anyway, QM? Go back where you came from, you don't belong here.

Re: Turn 56

Waitaminit, I'm all for song, dance, *and* orgies!
And, I'd just like to point out that the nefarious half-beasts of Pangaea started it. I'd like to, but that would be slightly dishonest......

Re: RAND Game (PBEM) - Open

I've got a slight preference for no CB and no renaming - even if you're not explicitly trying to send messages to other people, different players have different techniques for renaming, which can...

Re: Assassin nations?

Tupilaks may be able to take down mages and priests, but they fail miserably against victims with high defense. Hoburg heroes beat them, and that's just embarrassing.

Sub briefly needed for HYDRANT PBEM

I'll be out of town from Saturday Morning through Wednesday night, Eastern US time. Is there anybody out there who'd like to help me out by taking a few turns while I'm gone?

Sub needed

I'll be out of town from Saturday morning through Wednesday night, Eastern US time. I am not sure which hostings I'll miss, but if anyone could sub for me during that time it would be great!

Thanks

Re: did you mean to reduce the average number

Rathar, plenty of the old common sites had gem incomes higher than one. From what people are saying, most of the new ones don't. So the gem income from common sites has apparently gone down, even...

Re: Weird stuff!

I appear to have received two of each commander that I recruited this turn (with different names, which suggests to me that they might not be glitchy clones?). It's not as though I had gone on a huge...

Re: Turn 35 / Send turns to Bluebird

Agartha is looking for fire gems, and will happily trade nature gems for them, in virtually any quantity. Please email Ygorl to work out the details (you've got my email if you're playing this game)....

Re: Jurri Ascends!

Those disease demons were indeed courtesy of me. Izaqyos told me that you were about to take 162, thus ending the game, so I had to send something nasty your way. Too bad it wasn't enough. Good game,...

Re: options and mac os ?

You need to run the game from a different directory ("Resources") than the binary sits in; it's a little counterintuitive. Something like this:

cd /Applications/Dominions3.app/Contents/Resources/...

Re: The haves and the have nots. (Talking \'bout ba

Yeah, that might have been me. My gem production got axed by the RNG, remember, and I needed an alternate source of power? A more reliable one? Well, lots of virgins in Sauromatia - the Blood Gods...

Re: BARK turns 61

And *again* my global draws the short straw! What is this, some kind of conspiracy by the Random Number Gods to keep Sauromatia an insignificant primitive backwater?

Hmph. We'll just have to find...

Re: Wishing for snatch?

Nope. Pretenders can only be wished for by their monster type (e.g. Vampire Queen) and you just get a base, no-frills version as a troop. Even with something like a Wyrm, that's pretty badass without...

Re: The Ages

I always thought Abysia was a good first nation. You can do well with just the heavy infantry and some evocation (which won't hurt your troops, since they're immune to fire); by the time you're...
