Blocks would not work, in your example why cant the 199 engage the 200.
Agree with the idea though if its codeable allowing units to CBF on units whose range is less than say 20 higher would solve...

Its well worth playing for the clash, fair bit of shuttling units involved but okay as forces decisions, could have used the Leos better if had known but plan was pretty much same as Aeraaa.

Mud is very prevalent on hills I can vouch for that, buildings have fallen off them due to mud slides in extreme cases and the weather on the Eastern front at least was some of the worst.

Its a speciality class for the odd scenerio, if you have need of it for something that gets used more do it.
Could put generic ones in UN Green or Red OOB, scenerio designer could always tweak if...

Not downloaded patch yet as away but nice to keep it random so player cannot figure out the result.
As an option if feasable none burning wrecks could add random “dust” to the hex to hinder...

Sounds good as a thought and do not know if practical you could free up 2 buttons by putting rarely used pavement all under 1 button. Press 1 2 3 to select type.

Was not aware of J key used plane trick.
Crews re crew automaticaly once they are in the same hex if in good order, enter hex then man next turn.
As far as I know dont if pinned...
