The Rhodesian SAS was disbanded on 31 December 1980. In June 1978 C Squadron SAS became 1 Rhodesian SAS Regiment. There is no paracommando unit class in the game and the SAS were paracommandos.

US Army /Philippines Orbat

Here is the US Army Philippines orbat. It is drawn from the SPWAW game, Wikipedia, Iliff Richardson's book and other sources. All mistakes are mine. BACK UP YOUR FILES.

Does it Make a Difference in Game Terms?

Re: Rifle/SMG Effective Range

Maximum firing range is how far the bullet will go. Soldiers in combat almost never try for maximum range. Bullets are light and the greater the distance the greater the deviation from the target....

Re: Be Careful about using old maps

It works fine in a Dos version of SPWW2 I have installed. I tried transferring it to WinSPMBT, renumbering it and trying it there. It locked the game. If you have it in a Windows version, throw it...

Re: Be Careful about using old maps

It was started for the now defunct SPWW2 WW1 mod. It was used for the scenario, 'Amiable Roughnecks.' It dates from 2003/4. I remember the name of the scenario only. I no longer have it.

I uploaded a mod and saw that a lot of the Russian units had a summer icon only. I tried adding desert and winter icons to the unit, (mostly the same for that mod) and got repeated system error...
