I would recommend keeping them separate. A couple of the sources are indicating that the ARJUN Mk-1 will be upgraded to the ARJUN Mk-1A standard during depot over haul as funds become available.

Here's a good one on their T-72 tanks dating back to the 1970's with some of the current local upgrades made to them. Overall they seem fairly useful against RPG's not so good against modern ATGW's...
