ONLY MBT uses external picklist so there is no \Game Data\Picklists in winSPWW2 and yes they are in that file in MBT but unless you are psychic you won't understand what you are seeing if you...

How old is the " old Sony desktop " ? What OS is it using ?

Using my old Dell Pentium III with XP it ran but unit movement was slow even with graphics delay at zero but I suspect there aren't many...

It doesn't work that way.....we only eliminated the NEED for the extra zoom levels NOT the main Z4 files themselves

The AI uses different formation for each nation and over different time spans.....some OOB's have only a half dozen time changes where different formations may be used and some other have dozens of...

Z0.. that is the furthest out that shows the most map area
Z1
Z2
Z3
Z4 _ that is the 1:1 default
Z5 _ the extra level in we...

I know that " that other mod" had stonewalls and some people like them but I have never been keen on the idea at all and why they have never been added to the game

With the Extended map editor. You can decide how big you want it then make a blank map that size and save it.... then generate the Venhola and select the same size area on it and using the Select...
