Re: Running WinSPWW2 on OS X

I can also add it runs fine simply using Oracle's VirtualBox software, too.

Re: Complete newbie can't get a scenario made to save his life ...

Re: winSPWW2 V3.5 upgrade NOW AVAILABLE !

What updates are needed for the CD version, copyright 2006, bought mid-2008? The 2.5/3/3.5 ones, or earlier ones as well?

Re: Newbie artillery question ...

OK, will do in the future. I did get them to fire. They're the three German mortar units in the tutorial.

I wound up simply firing them at the pre-setup target points since in two of the cases...

Sorry, I meant to add I waited more than one turn for the artillery. It was three turns later when I realized that without artillery to soften things up that I thought I'd planned, my flank attack...

I was thrilled to see how well it ran under Parallels and...

Re: Three pre-purchase newbie questions

Found it on the Camo Workshop website ...

One unit playing piece represents one vehicle or gun, or an infantry squad (section of up to 19 men in winSPWW2 and 13 men in WinSPMBT) or a section of 1...

Re: Three pre-purchase newbie questions

Thanks PanzerBob. One last question ...

Q3. Does this mean a 10x10 map each hex = 500 metres, therefore a 5 kilometre square map? Or a 10x10 map each hex 50 metres therefore a 500 sq. metre (half...

Hi everyone,

I'm considering a purchase of WinSPWW2 as the demo runs perfectly well under Parallels (emulated XP in OSX). I could, I suppose, aslo BootCamp into Windows but I prefer not rebooting....
