Re: Height Maps

I can't seem to zoom in to the level of the grid. Might have something to do with Microsoft's absolutely useless "Edge".

Re: WinSP MBT: Das Reich

Thanks! Could never have done it without a good solid foundation provided by yourself, of course . I'll tell you it was hard finding good source material for the Bundeswehr's landing craft. In...

Re: WinSP MBT: Das Reich

Hi,

I'm glad you like the screens. 1.1.6P is indeed still the latest version of the mod. Sorry it took me so long to respond. I had trouble logging in to my account.

Here is some more...

Re: WinSP MBT: Das Reich

As you can see, I've been quite busy incorporating Oragus' sterling work on US heavies into the mod, while taking a stab at two Soviet monsters, myself (the IS-7 and Obyekt 279). The Panthers also...

Hello Everyone!

I'm still beavering away at the new release.

@ MarkSheppard - sure thing, I'll take a look at them.

Here are some screenshots of some old and new units:

Re: Modder's Toolkit?

As someone who uses the shape editor quite a bit I'm inclined to commend Mr. Oragus for this undertaking. He'd be doing me and other modders a favour if he put the contents of the text file into a...

Re: Modder's Toolkit?

That would be capital!

Thanks for the offer.

I see the forum seems once again to be computer-aids free. Kudos to whoever fixed that  .

Re: Ww2+40

Great idea. I did something similar for my project. At the time I thought it would be a quick way to get some scenarios set up for people to play. I'll take a look at what you've done after I'm back...

I bet I'm the only one who finds that incredibly amusing. :D

Re: Vietnam 10 part series on PBS.

They are running it in France and Germany too on the channel Arte. Albeit with close to 30 mins worth of content missing from each episode, because, typically, some genius decided that the schedule...

Thumbs up Re: Vietnam 10 part series on PBS.

Thanks for the heads up.

I've watched all ten episodes over the last couple of days. A very comprehensive and at times deeply harrowing account of the war.

I personally don't think we can do...

Well ... here they are without further ado.

Two huge maps of Hue City - one of the City itself and the other of the environs directly to the West, which was where the AirCav operated during the...

Re: Hue city 1967-68

Alright. My revisions are limited to sorting out the Citadel wall at present. It is now - more or less - continuous and as close to the shape of the real thing as the angle will allow. Of course...

Re: Hue city 1967-68

The stone walls etc. cannot be modelled in-game. There are no icons for such things - only hedgerows. I attempted to model the outer wall using a level one hill and special terrain. That is as close...

I thought I'd upload a few screenshots today.

First up, a view of the new Jagdpanzer (E-25) "Jaguar" Ausf. B:

Thankyou Don.

That will certainly come in handy when I get round to mapping bits of the city out. I was thinking the Mamayev Kurgan would be a good start.

I need a bit more than just the...

Re: FJ-1 Fury Icon set 1.0

That honor belongs to the McDonnell FH/FD Phantom, for purpose built.

The FJ-1 was part of the "next generation" of jet aircraft that the USN ordered in 1945 to replace the FH/FD Phantom, which...

I have in fact been busy making some...

Re: US Heavy Tanks Icon set 1.0

Any good ranges for the 105mm? What about for the long 90s. At the moment I'm keeping them at 80 hexes like the other 90mm guns of the era.
