Re: Configure campaing battle points

The ratio depends on the battle type

1. Defend -- 2.5
2. Delay -- 2
3. meeting -- 1
4. advance -- 0.5
5. assault -- 0.4

That is, if you set human to be 1250 points and you actually spend...

Re: question on Supply trks/depots

Place your units right next to ammo supply unit. They will get re-supplied each turn.

At the time when you can repair core units and expand core, the current core value is shown on the upper left corner.

Re: Dealing with the Infantry Peril

Sorry for late reply. I was busy fighting the Japanese in Guadalcanal. Almost overrun by them. Thanks to Don & Ketch.

If the arty is plotted on hot spot, the delay is 1.0 turn. Using the tactic...

Re: Dealing with the Infantry Peril

You can plot arty from the very beginning, with their tubes turned off. When the enemy shows up, turn their tubes back on. Thus you will have no delay. Later you can shift them with your spotter...

Re: exerience

It's mentioned in the GG that "shooting at enemy or being shot at by enemy" will also gain experience. From my experience, this works for relatively less experienced troops. When the troop is highly...

Re: Fighting the japanese. Yikes.

Anybody played LC vs Japanese? Is there any Japanese aircrafts? I am also planning a LC as USMC. Don't know whether AAA should be included in core.

Re: Question - Mines/engineer groups

BTW:
Engineer/Pioneer can clean mines from adjacent hex but they work faster if they are IN the mine field. Reg INF only clear mines if they are in the mine field.

Re: Trouble with 640 x 480 resolution

I am not sure whether it works so please make a backup first.

Under "Game Data" directory there is a file named "CamoGame.ini". Open it with a PURE TEXT editor (e.g., notepad).
Check...

Re: Trench Problem: maybe a bug?

I am not quite comfortable with the first one because the trench extended out of deployment zone can NOT be removed. If you want to remove trench, you can't even click out side deployment zone. So I...

Trench Problem: maybe a bug?

1. In the deployment stage, you need to specify the start & end location of the trench when you lay down trench. However, the end location can be outside the deployment range. You can dig trench into...

Re: Advice for american long campaign

Well, independent bazookas are size 0, so harder to spot, good for abushing and bunker busting, but they have only 2 man, so usually 1 engagement(the so called "shot") is needed to get rid of them...

Re: Getting AAA to fire

I know the the warhead size is counted in AP capability for AP rounds. Is it also counted in HE kill for HE ammo?

Quad 50 has a bigger HE kill (19) than that of twin Bofors (18) or single one (15)...

Re: Getting AAA to fire

if you still have the saved game, I suggest that you adjust the "hit ratio" in game preference to check whether it is due to to-hit probability. Change it to some value like 250%.

Re: Getting AAA to fire

20 hexes away is a bit too far away. I think AA needs a minimum hit probability to fire.

Re: Fighting the japanese. Yikes.

JIA had the best infantry at that time. They were best trained, but poorly armed.
