This human has set up on the right..

All my editing work is on the left..

Is this senerio going to crash and burn when he fires it up?
Where does it say that? - since it is not true.

Under Scenerio Editor 2nd paragraph

The player I'm setting up for isn't concerned about it.

I'll make sure that the human player stays on the left from now on. It's been so long since I tried editing I've gone and forgotten alot of mundane SP info,
thanks for your answer.
And I quote from the game guide:

Quote:
Important note to scenario designers, remember that any scenario you design should be with the human as player 1 (the one on the left in the picture below) and the AI (computer) player as player number 2 (on the right).
Note what it actually says (my bold). It does NOT say that the human player MUST be on the left. It says that Player 1 in that example - referencing a screen shot below - is on the left hand side.

If you use the side-swap utility then you can change that. See the paragraph beginning "The Map Sides buttons are what allow you to exchange the default map sides, .. "

So
1) Scenarios should be designed with the human player as player 1
2) Player 1 can be on the left or the right.
2.1) If you do not like the default sides, you can swap them. It is best to do so before placing any troops whatsoever though.

Bullet #1 is the important bit. Unless you know exactly what you are doing the default human side is player 1.
