I just want to say that I find this variation (Dis and Valks) to be twice as effective in both CBM and vanilla than the Helkarl + Helhirdling strat and a lot more versatile with the flying. One problem I still have is building enough death gem income as death sites really aren't that common and I tend to play more crowded games, but only a minor complaint.
