Every day that the undead horde did not sweep down upon seemed a miracle of it's own, and Chulyin instructed the troops to send prayers of thanks to Issukangitok. While they seemed quite cowardly and weak, their inventions known as 'crossbows' were surprisingly deadly. He was beginning to think if he could gather enough of them they would be a very formidable force.
