Disk Miniature ID Flag Mod 2.0

This is a mini flag mod that changes all the ID flags in WinSPWW2

This is almost the same flag mod I posted in 2010. One or two flags have been slightly improved in this version.

The mod changes two things:

1. It moves the ID flags from under the unit icons to above.
2. It reduces the size of the ID flags by about 60%

Unit icons are less obscured, and it looks more natural when flags are above the units.

These flags are roughly the size that an AFV, infantry or cavalry unit may fly, so look more like they belong to the unit.

Download
Download the attached zip file: Cross Mini ID Flags 2.0.zip

Installation
1. Unzip the ‘Cross Mini ID Flags 2.0’ folder to your desktop.
2. Go into the folder and copy or move the 2 ‘shp’ files into the games 'GRAPHICS' folder, and ‘replace all’.

Before you replace the original files, I recommend backing them up, by renaming them Icon0097.orig.shp, Icon0098.orig.shp or moving them to a folder called Original ID Flag Icons or something.

Your Graphics folder is located here:
WinSPWW2/Game Data/Graphics

Only these two files are modified:

Icon0097.shp
Icon0098.shp

Shrapnel Mod Advisory:
This mod only changes the flag icons, so can be installed mid-battle with no PBEM, security or OOB problems.

This mod is not endorsed or supported by Shrapnel Games or The Camo Workshop.

Acknowledgment:
The inspiration for this mod came from Lahtinen who made a flag mod in 2006 that reduced the standard flags by about 40%. This mod goes a little further, reducing the standard flags by about 60%.
