Default Weird Worlds & Lion (Mac OS 10.7)

With the upcoming release of the latest update to Mac OS X, 10.7 Lion, Weird Worlds will no longer work with current Macs.

This is due to the fact that the Mac version of Weird Worlds was written for older Motorola PPC processors and not the Intel CPUs currently used by Macs. Mac OS X 10.7 Lion will discontinue the use of the Rosetta software package that allowed Intel Macs to run software designed for PPC Macs.

The other Digital Eel game distributed by Shrapnel Games, Brain Pipe, is a Universal Binary Mac application. This means that it can run on either PPC or Intel processors without the need for the Rosetta software.

Are there any plans to update Weird Worlds to a Universal Binary application, or even an Intel native version? Or is Weird Worlds for Mac now a DEAD game, and no longer supported?
