We collected quite a bit of unit report documents for the Forgotten Hope 2 mod and sometimes it is interesting what the Germans used. Some of that stuff is not well represented in most games or the public image of World War 2. One example is that as the war drew to a close, the Germans started to issue large numbers of Beretta smgs in all kinds of units, as MP40 production was phased out. Because of that I tend to mix in a few MP379(i) in my late war scenarios, just as a detail.
The Suomi is more rare, but the elite Führer Grenadier Division actually had 59 on hand, source unknown.
