Very tough scenario. I managed a 4:1 marginal only because I had captured the v-hex next to the ammo bunkers and the AI launched an ill-advised counter attack into my smoke screen to retake it. Without this I probably would have gotten a draw.

Needed lots of smoke to break the battlefield down into manageable sections. The paras' lack of rifles as primary weapons was telling. At long range they were losing against the AI units but within 3 hexes they chewed them up. Had they been rifle armed instead of SMG armed I would have had a much easier time of it. Having the para mortars as actual mortars capable of indirect fire and smoke laying would have been a big help too.

Air strike was virtually worthless. I would have been better off with tac bombers.
