Good game, Rev. You were in for a tough time once C'Tis turned his evil eye your way.
As for the settings and Dom3, from what I've read in the past few days the balance between recruitable troops and magic has changed. I'll be wanting to play a bunch of games with the new defaults and see how that goes.
