Just so we are absolutely clear......this is the winSPMBT CD you are referring to....correct?
Was there any error message of any kind that showed when you tried to run it........AND..... have you tried to run it again after a re-boot ?
Try copying the installer from the CD to your HDD and then run it. I have been told that should work if there are any problems running it directly from the CD.
I'm glad you brought the issue to my attention but this is really an issue you need to bring directly to Shrapnels customer service. They have the expertise and experience dealing with issues like this that I do not. All I know
for sure is the installer I built works perfectly for Andy and I and that it was tested on 7 different machines by Shrapnel without an issue.
EDIT. I did not know this until today but Shrapnel tells me..

so if your machine will not run it from the CD you need to copy it from the CD to a temp folder and run the installer from you HDD
