all of those are a perfectly acceptable way of building formations with sub formations you only want appearing in specific formations but not available in the regular purchase menu on their own or other formations in that same unitclass.

Again..... that is is a perfectly acceptable way of building formations and I am near 100% certain that those two formations should have been set up that way.
