What happened to the game?

Since I periodically get inquiring emails about the status of ETO I wanted to let everyone know what's been going on.

Being the 2nd edition of the game (the first was self-published by NEPPA) we wanted to make sure that gamers who purchased the 1st edition won't feel a sense of deja vu. Besides the changes in the mechanics, tweaked rules, and additional counters *all* the art is being redone. Unfortunately there has been a couple of hiccups with the redesign work, leading to the unfortunate delay that everyone is experiencing.

Once the art redesign is complete it's off to the printers, that's the only thing holding it up. Apologies for not communicating this earlier, and we thank you for your patience. And please, anytime you have a question concerning one of our products feel free to drop us a line or stop by the forums. We're always here to help.

I sent payment for this game back in November, 2007. I have not received any word about this game since that date. Is the game still in production? How about letting people who have paid for this game know something. I can not purchase any more games from Shrapnel until I know I am going to get a product. I just wish someone would respond. I don't "know anything" ,but from the information I see here,that's one slacking design team...
