I did lose the game file for the extended version though which sucks. Anyone know a way to solve it?

I *assume* when you say you lost the game file for the extended game" you mean your computer crashed and you didn't have a BU ?

my computer died and I did not have a backup (or rather I did but it appears the CD was lost during a move)

You will have to contact Shrapnel - they handle sales of the game, as the publishers.

We are Camo Workshop - the developers, we make the game. We handle games technical support here in this forum, but not sales support.

If you bought it using Shrapnel's "safe box" (?) method that seems to allow you to go back and get a replacement copy if you crash or otherwise lose your copy - I think that is how that purchase method works. Other than that, I don't know if they have a replacement policy for crashes etc. for non "safe box" customers. So you will need to email Shrapnel's Customer Support team to see what the story is.
