Default BCT on Windows 7

Playing one of the missions in BCT I am encoutering two enemy DSTs that cannot be destroyed. Both are taking fire from two Abrams tanks (four in all), both 12.7 and 7.62 mm, but nothing happens?

I wanted to attach the savegame files, but there is no savegame folder to be found?!? Searching internally in Windows 7 for the files is in wain. But inside the game I have a list of save games that I can access?

TFW is also installed in Windows 7 - savegame folder being present.

I have not tried BCT on Windows 7 yet. But I don't know why the Savegame folder would not be present under the BCT install directory.

As for the fire on a DST, how far away is the tank? It might simply be too far away to effectively engage the DST, especially if the DST is in rocks or other covering terrain.

From the attached image I would say they are pretty close?

I have just installed ATF - this also lacks the savegame folder!?

Am I really the only one to have run Prosim games on Windows 7 RC?

Shorty,

You might just be. I just ordered my copy through a promotion. I may even get it before the Public GA date of 22-Oct. I may have to put it on another partition because I dont know abut drivers and such. If I do, I'll check for save folders and such.

We may have to come up with a list of different behaviors in the new OS.

Windows 7 might implement some scheme where it creates the save game folders in a virtual folder in your application data or documents and settings. Bottom line: are you able to save and load games as usual?

Yes - I am able to save and load games as usual. But it makes it impossible for me to transfer a game from laptop to desktop and vice verca

I am investigating, but I am almost certain that there is a folder on your harddrive that replicates the ATF folder where these files are saved, if not, the savegame feature would not work correctly. I would check the user and application data folders. They may be hidden by default. You may need to find the "show hidden folders" option on Win7 to reveal them. Windows just gets harder to use with every version!

This is rather embarrassing - it turned out that I had not turned on "show hidden files".
Found the save game files on C:\Users\Klaus\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\BCT Commander\savegame.

Patrick - what about the two enemy DRTs?
