Space Empire IV for Mac ?

Space Empire IV Gold is a great 4X game.

I played it in Virtual PC in my G4/800 upgraded PowerMac and surprising smooth because of the relatively low system requirement.

Is there any plan to produce a native Mac OS (9 or X) Version for better playing experience ? I reckon that the conVersion wouldn't be very difficult as most files are text-based except for the main application.

Really hope that such a great game can be ported over to Mac as the late Master of Orion III for Mac is quite disappointing
