Question Creating fords?

Sorry if this is a really "Newbie" question:

I have looked through the GG and threads both here and in MBT forum, but cant seem to find the answer,

How do I make fords in streams?

thanks

Never having tried this, so lets have a look at the map editor.

Mousing over a randomly laid river (on plain grass):
Streams are -2 height
Fords are -1 height

So as an experiment:
- we select the target -2 height stream hex
- we now use the set hex height function (* key) to enter -1 terrain height instead

Voila! - it's now a -1 ford, as reported by mousing over the changed hex. (I did not try driving something over it to fully test).

Job done.
