Actually this is not the best design decision, IMHO.

How the heck person supposed to distinguish affliction caused by battles from afflictions caused by old age on the battle mage? IMHO this need to be changed, either allow all afflictions to be healed, or give player ability to see if the affliction was caused by battle or by aging.

(can't check right now because comp at home is momentarily down)

What happens to the Atlantis guys? Fluff-wise, they're supposed to have no max age, and to grow larger and stronger with old age.

Dont think this happens, but do they at least get no old age afflictions?

Atlantaens have their old age start at 500, and none of their commanders are older than about 275.

I'd love to see the grow larger and stronger with age implemented though. That would be a cool feature.

They did implement a few new nature spells that heal afflictions, even a nation-wide one to halve aging speed and heal afflictions.

Gift of Health isn't new. Of course, it didn't halve aging before there was aging.
