Like you said so many countries. Thats the really great part about this game.

Being that the AI is almost universally considered inferior to a human.
I would take a somewhat technically challanged force for yourself. Like for example you take the Mujahadeen and fight NATO
(Canada,Germany,Netherlands,UK,US)

Another possibility would be for you to take an Arab nation local to Isreal (Egypt,Syria,Labanon, etc) And give Isreal to the AI.

Or some African nation against China,Russia,or US. Or all three!

These will make for more challanging battles, but being as your human you can cope better.

Iran against Iraq from 9/80 through 7/88 as Iran. You are generally behind the Iraqis in the power curve, this is an era when the T-72 is not a range target, they have 'em and you do not. From 87 on, they also have the Republican Guards elite formations.

Plus - the Iran-Iraq war batlocs are built into the code, and if you are a tankie you have nice open deserts/arid terrain (mainly).

Cheers
Andy

NB -in future, please open threads in the appropriate forum. A campaigns forum already exists for campaigns discussions.

Try playing as Soviets versus NATO in the early to mid 1980s. NATO has Thermal Imaging and the new Chobham-clad tanks coming on line, but you are still blinded by smoke. That puts the emphasis on tactical skill on your part.

I used to play USMC vs Somolia quite abit as generated battles.

Give the Somolians 2-3 times the points to spend.

After playing Steel Panthers games for 10 years I tend to take underdog armies these days. It's just more interesting to me when the AI is the one using the good stuff.
