Thank You for your years-lasting effort and devotion. I hope you are at least well rewarded (although I can't imagine how big the reward should be, to compensate for nerves and health...)

I want to clarify a few points regarding this new feature as it has been questioned off the forums

That procedure is detailed in the CD section of the game guide.
1/ It can only be set by CD owning players/scenario designers BUT scenario built using it WILL show the altered ID tags and V-hexes to both CD owners and Free DL players.

2/ If a unit that has had its flag changed takes a V hex then that is the flag that will show for that V-Hex BUT all points go to the side that unit is on. You could have a battle where The USA and Filipino troops are on the same side but if a Filipino unit takes a neutral or enemy V hex then that V hex will show the flag of the Philippines but the points would go to the USA side that the Filipino unit is allied to. This would also be true if you were playing a scenario that had German and Latvian troops. If the Latvian troops took a neutral or enemy V hex the hex would flip to the Latvian flag and the German side would be credited with the points. This feature was deliberately coded that way so you could see how well your " allies" were doing and is not a "bug"

3/ This feature is ONLY coded into winSPWW2 and NOT winSPMBT

Unless you are using modified OOBs, there will be no problems with ongoing campaigns. If you have a hacked OOB, remember to back it up and re-apply if needed.

Probably OK but that depends on what nation you are playing as and what units you are using.

If you are playing as Germany and just happen to have bicycle troops in your TO&E you will for sure ( any nation that used bicycle troops will but I'm betting they are not everyones number 1 pick.....) or if you bought 251/9's instead of 251/10's as part of a PzGrZg. If you did you might see some weirdness happen and need to change those units when your upgrade screen appears so it should not halt your campaign but may require some adjustments be made before continuing onto the next battle.

So I would suggest anyone that is in the middle of a campaign to play out the battle you are on now almost to the last turn if possible then save before patching the game so when you start up you can check for any oddities like that and change those units on the next upgrade.

Also, these are noted in the Icon lists but if anyone wants to play around with WW1 tanks " just for fun" or add a "tent" to a scenario for decoration they are in the Green OOB in MISC



...you'll need to change the ID tags manually and set the game date from April 1933 and Aug 1935 to get the "Imperial" German flag

The last scenario in the patch (774) has some WW1 tanks and is set in “1933” but really is 1916...they do move slow compared to even PzIB lol
