Default Assigning Reinforcements/Reserves

Seeing the features on the latest patch, I noticed that it is possible to keep some units off map in reserve. I browsed through the game manual but couldn't find how to do this.

Could anyone here tell me, and how to set the turn & entry point for units held back initially? Thanks.

Which feature are you referring too? I know this is possible from a scenario design standpoint but not in a normal generated game, with the exception of the AI doing this.

Correct.

It is a feature of scenario design, not regular battles.

The AI will do it in non-scenario battles to keep a force for use later - the equivalent of a human keeping a few troops back on the base line to use as a reserve.

Cheers

Oh I see. Thanks for the reply. I was under the incorrect assumption that human players could do it in normal games as well following the patch.

I think it was added as a function to increase some unpredictability when playing aginst the AI.
