If anyone is interested, you can follow along in a roleplaying thread I am currently participating in:

Here is one in the same world, with a different group:

Eventually, we may even run into one another!

Sigh. I would love to play, except that:
1. I have no time.
2. I have no books.
3. I have no experience.

But I always wanted to play......

You don't need the books. The character sheets are legally downloadable. Just ask.

No experience needed. I've played out one combat encounter and GM'd on the boxed begginers adventures for my brother 8 times.

Nothing I can do about 'no time'.

I doubt you'll find it on Amazon. I actually found them by going through search engines..some websites have them up.

Sigh.

I'm available weekdays from 3 to 5 pm CST (GMT - 6, or 9 to 11pm GMT). Also from about 8 to 10 pm CST (2 to 4 am GMT). Weekends are too flexible to predict, but I should be able to fit a few hours in...

I don't have any materials, other than what I can download off the internet (character sheets, etc.)

I don't have any experience at D&D, but do have some minor experience with MUDS.

Sigh.

I am interested but for the next 3 weeks my availablity is weekends only (though if I know a time in advance I can schedule just about any two hour block)

I typically play clerics, rangers, cleric/rangers, fighters, fighter/thieves

have played mage/clerics, bards

I have not played 3.0 or above rules though, only AD&D original, AD&D 2nd edition (though I have the CD for 2nd Edition)nor do I have the 3.0 or above books

Oh, and I have DMed both AD&D original and 2nd edition but never 3.0 or higher. I am not interested in DMing at this point though unless as an emergency fill-in or a 1 time filler between campaigns.

I'd be interested, but I don't really have any 'always available' time at the moment. If people start settling on an agreeable time, I'll see what I can do to be available then.

I have played 3.0 a couple times, but it was a fair while ago

I don't have any of the books, and I definitely don't have the time to DM, though I have DM'd a couple small campaigns.
