Question OOB 016 Units 226 & 302 Sturm Pioniere

Hi
The Sturm Pioniere(Units 226 & 302) in the German OOB(OOB 16) look strange.
What do those rockets do there, isn't this artillery?
Weren't they so heavy that they had to be transported some kind of vehicle?
In the game they can be used like a rifle and that is a more than unplesant incident.

Interesting but I didn't see or find myself details about how practical & effective they really were, so ignoring that isn't there a point reached were such equipment should really impact the performance of the unit that carries it?

How many guys do I need to carry one of it not to speak of two of these things.
A flamethrower would already be something you could worry about but these things definitely should hamper the units in some way.
Of course once there gone anything is fine but till than..

And what about the range I think these are listed with a range of 41, was that even possible when laying the on the ground and firing them from such an improvised position?
