Default Slow frame rate

Hi all,

I installed the game (v1.22) on a 1Ghz Athlon machine, with 512 ram, geforce FX5200 (128MB) video card, Windows XP SP2. The game starts ok but, when the animations begin, I experience very low fps and mouse movement.

After reading other post, i installed the last directX and video-card drivers but the problem continues.

Does anyone have the same problem? Is there any other thing i can do?

Thanks in advance!

Hmm. I have the same video card and have never experienced any issues so I would guess that there may be something else happening besides your video drivers. That's not to say it couldn't be related since every system is different...

Maybe try rolling back the drivers. Have you tried any other games that use OpenGL on your system?

I am having the same problem with the demo and a GeForce4 MX 440 card. Having to fight the interface every step of the way is the only thing making me hesitant about buying the full version.

I've already tried updating the drivers, and would rather not downgrade them and risk breaking several other games just to get this one working.

I'm finding the demo addictive enough that I may buy the game anyway and use it to justify upgrading the video card sometime in the future.
