Default BCT:Ranger Kandahar Raid - indirect fire issues

With two UH60s I am able to lift the battery of 6 105 mm guns, but not 2 sections of 81 mm or a single section of 60 mm mortars?

In addition the 105 mm battery will not its planed fire missions? It is emplaced, there is plenty of ammo - but no rounds are fired

Sorry for the problems.

On the UH-60s, are you sure they are stopped, over open terrain, and not in sprinte? Are you sure there is nothing else in the helos already (maybe taking up the space).

For the 105s, make sure they are not in sprint either. That can sometimes stop them from firing.

Beyond that, send a saved game to:

techsupport@prosimco.com

and I will check it out.

The UH-60s will not load the mortar units during mission setup.

105 battery is not in sprint. Save game file has been send.

Aparently I was a bit impatient in regards to the 105 mm guns. They will fire eventualy.

I have an Apache that doesn't fire on enemy fire teams? They are within sight and range - see attached files.

Make sure the aircraft are facing the target and stopped. It also takes some time to acquire the target and take the shot, after stopped. The aircraft might also be so far away that they cannot possitively ID the dismounts. They may be showing up red because one of your other units has them IDd.

So the red line does not imply a positive ID?

Ah ha. Didn't see that. Yes, it does mean possitive ID. I would guess that the speed at which your aircraft are moving and the specific disposition of the dismount you are trying to attack are such that the odds to hit the target are so small the aircraft is not taking the shot. Dismounts in defilade and hold fire are hard to hit. They are basically "gone to ground." You sometimes see this same problem with DRT teams in the NTC scenarios.

Well, I am pretty sure that the Apache is stationary.
I was not aware that there is a "worthwhile" factor - this would explain quite some instances.

Any news on the loading of the mortars?
