Question on random event

"A traders guild has been established in the province permantly increasing tax revenue by 25 gold."

Anyone know whether this random event works. The reason I ask is that no new site appears in the province, like with other similar events.

The random even where your master alchemist dies and leaves a lead to gold machine permenantly adding 100 gp also adds no new site.

There are a bunch of events like that, raising the gold or the resources for the province without adding a site. (Albeit there is one that increases the gold income substantially, _and_ puts a nice city there too.)

This event should be very obvious whether or not it works by viewing the income of the province.

It might be difficult to say if the event have had any effect as unrest (and other factors) might influence the income.

Not to mention that it's also difficult if you weren't taking notes on the resources / gold income of _every_ province, each turn.

Say, Kristoffer - any chance that the next Dom2 patch could save the previous turn's files, so you could go back and look at things like this? (Not to mention checking "oh my god, I couldn't have ordered _that_!" and seeing that you did. )
