Default Bug Report 14082005 #2

Visibility problem (someone MUST have mentioned this before but I'm writing it anyway)

At the start of a scenario during Turn 0 Bombardment phase whichever side was played by Human last is fully visible e.g.

1) Play a scenario as human Player 1. Finish play.
2) Play a scenario as human Player 2.
Result: Every Player 1 unit on map will be visible during the bombardment phase.

Right now I only know that bug is tripped during single MBT session. I don't know if it shows during a different MBT session. I don't know if it shows during a crossover from campaign to scenario play.

I tested this one out, and the only time I saw this was when at least one side had air strikes plotted. And not always, so something may not be quite correcly clearing WRT air strikes.

Did your situaton have air strikes plotted in turn 0, or were these arty only bombardments?.

Arty only bombardments for turn 0. I saw it in Scenario 28 Schwarzer Herzog-Keoninutter, normally to be played as W.Germany.

To repeat error...
1) Open a scenario like Scenario 28 Schwarzer Herzog-Keoninutter play as Player 1 Human Germans.
2) Close scenario after Turn 0 Artillery strikes.
3) Open scenario again and switch players to Player 2 Human Russians. (This is how I noticed I wanted to play Russians and screwed up during the first start)
4) Watch as Russian Turn 0 Arty blasts away at stuff. You get to see EVERY Player 1 unit on the map so you can see just how close you get to landing a hit on a Leo.

The bug was due to a variable not being properly set if player 2 was the human, and player 1 was the AI (the opposite to the norm).

it now appears to be fixed.
