Default Scenhack

Hi
I'm playing around with this program. I want to change the flags on some of the scenarios to the SS one. I know you can change the icon from 0-106. Is there a list somewhere where I can find what number corresponds to which flag?

Open the game guide and click on the "CD Extended features" link. Scroll down till you find them or search for "This is the entire list of 124"

In V.12 if you change the ID Tag of a unit , it also changes the Objective Flag to the same nationality when you take the objective. In previous versions the objective flag always changed to the nationality of the side being played, the tag didn't make a difference. We sometimes redraw the tags of a nation we don't use and use it on other units with ScenHack for quick identification on a crowded messy battlefield, but now we're getting all kinds of crazy flags on the board whenever an objective is taken. Is there some quick fix in V.12, or is there something we don't get, thanks.

from the game guide, section on release history:

Quote:
CD owners Only. ( winSPWW2 only--- this function was not added to winSPMBT ) There is a new feature that allows CD owners / scenario designers primarily, the ability to change the ID tags and Victory Hex Flags to either an existing OOB or from a set of tags and flags that have been added to the SHP files for nations not covered by a full OOB which allows scenario designers the ability to customize scenarios and simulate nations not covered by the normal game OOB's. That procedure is detailed in the CD section of this game guide.. CLICK HERE
See the bolded part. The full details are laid out in the section reached by clicking the CLICK HERE link in the release history section, or going to the CD-extended features section and scrolling to the end of that.

In other words - the game is working as intended. Your "Filipino Scouts" will flip an enemy or neutral V-hex to their flag, not the USA main force flag. Points remain assigned as the main force's - in this case, USA.

OK, everything is clear now, sort of. we were fudging the tags for our own purposes and ran into a problem with the new system. We found it very handy especially in crowded battles and will probably stay with V.11 for now. Thanks for the quick reply. Be of good cheer.
