DRG will become famous soon enough
Default Re: Battlelocs

It's a name and code override in code for batloc 74. 74 is one of the standard Afghan / Brit batlocs but there are random name and code tweaks built in for it

Default Re: Battlelocs

Many batlocs are made as variants on a stock base batloc,
tweaking the parameters (e.g urbanisation, trees etc.) and name. many are just a name override with or without a parameter tweak (So Sangin and Musa Quala might be randomly chosen strings for an Afghan terrain with urbanisation and British forces). The map generating code is rather extensive - our game is not the original SP2 which usually had one location for say Israel v Egypt and one for israel v Jordan or one batloc per pairing per month for WW2.

The base batloc is shown in the creation of the map where you see he batloc name in the little central window - and if you use the "Redraw map using current battle location" button, it'll keep any overrides. Hovering the mouse over this button will show the stock location ID being used and the short-cut for the button [=].
