Default New in town...

So I read through the FAQ and the question that I was looking for wasn't in there. What are good classes for someone new to the game?

Thanks in advance

I think something like Ermor would be a good choice. A nation that doesn't feature magic too heavily, at any rate.

Middle age Ulm might be another good contender, having mostly humanoid troops, having access to some combat magic to play around with but not the really complex stuff like communions, and a quite good baseline of troops.
